EVENT OVERVIEW
A reading nook will be available for those interested in taking a look at John Deering’s The View From Here, as well as Janet Carson’s In the Garden and a selection of other books available from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
In the Garden will also be available for purchase, and a reading nook will be provided for those interested in taking a look at available books. Attendees will also have the opportunity to pre-order Arkansas Life’s The Modern Arkan- sas Table, which will be released later this month.
Prize giveaways will be given through- out the event, including the grand prize of a 12-day trip for two on the Yellow- stone/Best National Parks Tour valued at $4,000 from Little Rock Tours and Trav- el. And there will be a bingo grand prize of a Country Christmas weekend trip for two to Nashville, valued at $1,000, also from Little Rock Tours and Travel.
Free transportation will be provided for those who want to avoid downtown traffic. Park and Ride will be offered from Lot 5 (close to Monroe street) at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock to the Statehouse Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with pickup and drop-offs every half hour. Little Rock Tours will offer the shuttle service, and parking is free in Lot 5. War Memorial is at 1 Stadium Drive.
