All-day event offers expert advice, education and fun all in one place
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Senior Expo, sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, is an all-day
health and lifestyle expo for seniors. The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the State- house Convention Center in Little Rock.
For the second consecutive year, this living and health expo will be free to the public and feature area vendors, educational seminars and entertain- ment — all geared to Arkansans 55 and older.
“This is our second year for this event in Little Rock, and we are so
excited to be able to bring it to the community — for free,” said Amanda Copley, marketing and events director at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “We have a great lineup of businesses that will offer products and services to attendees, and a full schedule of activ- ities ranging from gardening to health education.”
The event is open to seniors 55 and older, but families and caregivers are welcome as well. There will be more than 45 businesses in attendance to provide information on many topics
