What can I expect at the event?
Everyone who enters will be given a bag to use throughout the event to carry the information they receive from the 45 businesses in attendance. The first 500 attendees will receive a complimentary newspaper as well.
How do I register for giveaways?
Prizes will be given away throughout the event. To register for prizes, visit the prize-registration booth near the bingo area. Attendees do not have to be present to win the hourly prizes but must be present to win the Grand Prize Giveaway — a 12-day Yellowstone/Best National Parks Tour for two valued at $4,000.
Is the event handicap accessible?
The event will be wheelchair friendly, and reserved seating will be available at the stage. See above for handicap- accessible parking options.
Will there be concessions?
The Little Rock Marriott will have breakfast, lunch and snack options for sale throughout the day, including granola bars, sausage biscuits, hot dogs and turkey wraps. Water, tea, soda and coffee will also be for sale.

What time does the Senior Expo start?
The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17.
Where is the Senior Expo held?
The event is at the Statehouse Convention Center — located at 1 Statehouse Plaza in Little Rock — in Governor’s Halls 2-4.
Who should attend?
All seniors and baby boomers 55 and older, along with their family members and caregivers, are invited to attend this event. Information about health care and wellness will be provided, as well as products and services of particular interest to people in this age group.
Is there an admission charge?
This is a free event. All seminars, health screenings and entertainment — including bingo — are part of the event and are free. Cash or credit cards will be needed for the purchase of merchandise and for concessions.
How do I get to the event?
Little Rock Tours will offer free shuttle service from War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Lot 5, to the Statehouse Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with pickups and drop- offs every half hour. Parking is free in Lot 5, which is closest to Monroe Street. (War Memorial is at 1 Stadium Drive.)
There will also be a “park and ride” option in Hot Springs Village, with only one scheduled pickup at 7:30 a.m. and one drop-off at 4:30 p.m. (The departure time for leaving the Statehouse will be 2:45 p.m.) For this option, park at the Cranford’s East Gate, which is at 25255 Arkansas 5 in Lonsdale.
Parking is also available downtown. Metered parking is free on weekends but will be limited.
Parking lots are located throughout the downtown area, including spaces at Second and Commerce streets, and near the Interstate 30 off ramp. (Some parking lots may charge a fee for special events.)
Private parking lots and decks are located throughout the downtown area and do charge a fee. Locations include one at Sherman and Second streets and one at Second and Main streets. Rates are $1.50 per hour or $5 per day.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities are located in the downtown area. These spaces, designated with special signs for visibility and convenience, can be found in the following locations:
