Morrilton salon offers golden customer service
Summer is just around the corner, and one Morrilton business is helping its customers look great for the season.
Paradise Tanz has provided tanning services since 2011. Owner Rachael Al- lison said she wants her customers’ ex- periences to be as pleasant as possible.
“People take time out of their day to tan and to pamper themselves,” she said. “Whether you are here tan- ning for eight minutes or 20 minutes, we hope you feel like you have been greeted by a friendly, helpful staff in a clean, comfortable environment and you leave feeling like your ‘me time’ was well spent.”
The salon provides a variety of tan- ning services and takes the time to work with clients on achieving their tanning goals. Paradise Tanz’s professional staff has been trained and certified in all as- pects of the National Tanning Industry and Smart Tan areas.
“We want you to get the color you desire in the safest, most affordable way possible,” Allison said. “Helping peo- ple meet their goals — whether it be color for a specific occasion or just to get their season started — the ability to help someone take some time to do something for themselves is very reward- ing to me.”
At Paradise Tanz, the staff takes the time to ensure that its clients are not getting too much exposure. Tanning in moderation is best, she said, and by
working with clients personally and by treating them like family, she hopes cus- tomers feel important.
“We try to make sure our clients do not walk out of here with too much ex- posure,” she said.
“We start our customers out slow- ly and discuss how their daily results were before choosing with the customer which bed and what amount of time to use next,” she said. “We want everyone to feel like they are individuals here and not just another number.”
In addition to tanning, Paradise Tanz provides all types of tanning lotions, bronzers, a complete line of skin-care products, and custom-made jewelry, candles and soaps, plus a complete line of clothing in the business’s boutique. The salon also has a Red Light Therapy bed and products to boost the tanning bed’s effectiveness.
Paradise Tanz has five employees — Misty Linn, Emily Nichols, Julia Socha, Debbie Lee and Noah Nichols — who make it their goal to provide a com- fortable and clean environment for customers.
Paradise Tanz is open Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
