THE RECEPTION
Lexie said a photo booth was a must at the reception. “I have been to many weddings, and all the ones that had photo booths, I loved,” she said. “I still have many of the photo-booth photos from various weddings.” A er dancing the night away to tunes
spun by a DJ from Central Arkansas Entertainment, the couple spent 10 days touring Ireland and Scotland.
THE TASTES
e Arlington Hotel provided the reception dinner, the stars of which were let mignon and chicken piccata. Mom’s Kitchen in Cleburne, Texas, provided the wedding cake, which was vanilla avored, and the groom’s cake, which was strawberry avored and decorated with a Texas Tech theme to honor the couple’s alma mater. e guests’ gi bags included local Mountain Valley Spring Water and cookies from Ambrosia Bakery in Hot Springs.
THE DETAILS
Lexie wove black, white, gold and burgundy throughout the ceremony and reception, which took place
at the Arlington Hotel. e
couple paid homage to the hotel’s infamous patron, Al Capone, by incorporating 1920s props into their photo booth. Breck & Co. Floral in Cleburne, Texas, provided an array of owers, including amaranthus, scabiosa and eucalyptus. e hotel provided guests with Hot Springs- themed gi bags.
