BRIDES SHOULD PLAN BEAUTY ROUTINES IN ADVANCE FOR A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING GLOW
Enhancing her beauty is often a bride’s top priority for her wedding day, and looking her best can be achieved with the appropriate beauty preparation. Brides can take steps to enhance their natural
beauty and radiate on their big day, like getting into a skin- care routine early on and consulting with professional stylists. Finding a skin-care routine several months before the wedding will encourage glowing skin and a healthy, beau- tiful look. “Don’t wait until the last moment for skin-care treatments, hair removal or skin-care or makeup prod- ucts,” said Melody Burgener, owner of Melody’s Skin Care. “Brides should see a skin-care specialist/makeup artist at least three months before the wedding day who will coor- dinate everything with [the bride] to ensure that it all goes smoothly and that any last-minute undesired reactions are
avoided.”
When it comes to makeup, many professionals agree that
airbrushing and mineral makeup are the best options for a smooth and durable wedding-day glow. When consulting with makeup artists, “ensure a professional stylist and pro- fessional makeup artist that both have done weddings before and can adapt to any last-minute changes in selections,” Bur- gener said. “Arrange wedding-day hair and makeup ‘previews’ to ensure a perfected look.”
It’s also important for brides to have a speci c style in mind to discuss with stylists to achieve the wedding-day look the bride has always envisioned. “Brides should nd a look that strikes them and select and work with skin-care/makeup professionals in advance so they can work with her on any look she desires,” Burgener said. Bringing photo references from fashion and bridal magazines, social media, online port- folios and other sources to consultations with stylists is also recommended so they have a visual to better understand the bride’s style.
“Makeup coordination should be planned with everyone in the wedding so the entire wedding party looks their very best and the bride shines the brightest,” Burgener said.

“Seek the early advice of skin-care and makeup professionals to help assess skin issues and concerns, such as sensitivities, oily skin, pigmentation issues and more.”
