THE EVENT
About 250 guests ocked to Hillbrook Farms in Twin Groves for the ceremony and reception. Alexis included rust- toned hues and dusty blues throughout the decor. Her seven bridesmaids wore rust-colored dresses from David’s Bridal, and Joshua and his seven groomsmen wore tuxedos from J.R.’s Hobby Horse Western Store in Conway. e couple married outside beneath an arch adorned with owers provided by A Perfect Bloom Florist in Beebe.
THE ATTIRE
Alexis said she had a very speci c look in mind for her gown. “I went to a ton of bridal shops, and nally, when I walked into Low’s [Bridal & Formal in Brinkley], I saw my perfect dress,” she said. e gown featured
a low back, a long train and lots of tulle. A ower crown with a veil completed the look.
THE DETAILS
Because of Joshua’s last name, the oral arrangements included plenty of lilies, as well as co ee-break roses, dusty- blue thistle, cheese pumpkins and plentiful greenery. e table runners and goblets were dusty blue, and bowls of candy corn added to the fall theme. Guests le with custom Koozies and little bags of pumpkin seeds that said, “Let love grow.”
THE TASTES
Guests ate a tasty meal of fajitas and tacos provided by Faby’s Restaurant in Conway. “We served fajitas and tacos because I love tacos,” Alexis said. Cakes by Catie: A Sweet Shop in Conway cooked up a scrumptious vanilla naked cake adorned with beautiful owers and greenery, as well as
a delectable chocolate groom’s cake decorated with an Arkansas Razorbacks theme.
THE RECEPTION
e couple and their guests danced the night away to tunes spun by a DJ from Central Arkansas Entertainment. “My wedding was absolutely perfect,” Alexis said, adding that she
was glad she opted for a oral headpiece. “I really did love
my ower crown with all-real owers in it. I felt like that was something di erent that a lot of brides don’t usually do.”
