Autumn was the ideal time to fall in love for Alexis and Joshua, who met during a homecoming event in the 10th grade and
began dating in November 2016, after they both graduated. In August 2018, after a couple years of courtship, Joshua proposed to Alexis. She said “yes” on a balcony overlooking the city of Conway, surrounded by the couple’s closest friends and family. Alexis planned a fall-themed wedding with some help from day-of coordinator Lindsey Cooper of Little Rock. “My perfect wedding was having all my favorite people around me; lots of warm fall colors, flowers and pumpkins; and my dream guy waiting for me at the altar,” she said. “We chose to do a first look, and I’m so glad that we did. There were a few tears shed, but we were both just so happy to see each other.” After saying “I do,” the couple took a cruise to Belize, Honduras and Cozumel.
