Orchestra has been performing for more than 35 years. e group usually performs four to six times a year at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Interim general manager Lyle Rupert said the group consists of professional musicians from around the state and students at UCA. In addition to performances, members of the group also participate in educational outreach at area schools.
“[ e symphony orchestra] certainly adds a quality of life,” he said. “It gives people the opportunity to hear music that has last- ed for centuries.”

CONWAY WOMEN’S CHORUS
e Conway Women’s Chorus is a group of women from a variety of ages and back- grounds who enjoy singing. e group meets every Tuesday and performs bi-annual con- certs, along with occasional performances for local civic groups. e Conway Women’s Chorus was started by Joan Hanna in 2005
