BEST RV STORE Moix Recreational Vehicles >>
Conway RV store helps customers enjoy the great outdoors
What started as a one-man operation in the 1970s has grown to become one of the largest RV dealers in central Arkansas.
North Plaza Trailer Sales was started by Frank Moix in 1976. Now known as Moix Recreational Vehi- cles, Frank’s son Michael Moix operates the business, which sells a variety of RVs, campers, camping supplies and more. “We are a family-owned and -operated RV dealership that’s focused on bringing family and friends together through RVing,” said Michael Moix, owner/operator of the dealership. “We believe we are a customer-service company that happens to sell RVs. Everything we do is
measured against this belief.”
The family and staff’s commitment to serving cus-
tomers goes beyond the sales and service of RVs. The company also operates Camp Moix, an RV camping club that offers organized trips to sites not only in Arkansas, but across the U.S.
“Camp Moix helps bring like-minded individuals to- gether to make use of our industry’s products and expe- rience the great outdoors,” Michael said. “We offer three to four organized campouts a year to our clients, and one
of the best benefits of my job is that my wife, Mylissa, and I get to lead them.”
Because of the owner’s and staff’s dedication to service, Moix Recreational Vehicles is noted as central Arkansas’ Best RV Store in this year’s Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Best of the Best readers’ poll.
“It is an honor to be named Best RV Store in central Arkansas,” Michael said. “Being able to share this incredible history and lifestyle with fellow Arkansans is our life’s work.”
In addition to motor homes and towable travel trailers and fifth-wheel trailers, the dealership offers toy haulers, utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) and lawnmowers, plus a full line of accessories and products designed to help customers make the most of their outdoor adventures.
Because Moix Recreational Vehicles is a family-owned business, Michael said, the team is able to devote its energy to ensuring that customers receive the best-possible service.
“We don’t have to answer to any stockholders or boards. We just have to answer to our own conscience and sleep well at night,” he said. “Everyone on our staff is committed to bringing the best experience the RV industry has to offer to our clients.”
STACIVANDAGRIFF/ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Michael Moix, owner/operator of Moix Recreational Vehicles in Conway, said he is proud to carry on his family’s legacy of helping
other families explore the outdoors.
