For 50 years, Sissy’s Log Cabin has helped customers celebrate engagements, anniversaries and other special occasions. As the honoree for Best Jewelry Store in the Arkansas Democrat-
Gazette’s 2020 Best of the Best contest, Sissy’s Log Cabin can celebrate its golden anniversary with pride.
“Sissy’s Log Cabin is humbled and honored to have been chosen as this year’s Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Best Jewelry Store,” said Bill Jones, CEO. “We have been working for the past half century to bring the best to our clients and hope to do so for many years to come.”
The company began in 1970, when Sissy Jones opened an antique shop in a log cabin in Pine Bluff. The company has since evolved into Arkansas’ largest independently owned jewelry store, with five locations in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Jonesboro, Memphis and Conway, and Bill Jones said the company hopes to grow to 10 stores in the next decade.

Staff members work with each customer to find items that suit their budget and personality, he said, adding that the sales team is highly trained. A full-time position is dedicated to teaching staff members how to provide customers with top-notch service.
“Shopping at Sissy’s is truly an extraordinary experience,” he said. “Our staff cares deeply about each person who visits our stores in search of the perfect ring. Our sales associates work hard to learn the client’s style and to help them find the perfect piece. If nothing we have in stock is perfect for the client, we have multiple jewelers and gemologists who can create a custom piece just for you.”
The company extends its care to the community as well. Jones said each location has a philanthropy budget to be used for helping local charities and nonprofit organizations.
“We are so grateful to our customers and friends who have made the past 50 years possible for Sissy’s Log Cabin,” he said. “We hope to continue serving the great communities we are part of for many more years to come.”
