Although Molly and Bryan met during a doctorate program in applied biological sciences at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the couple soon realized their innate chemistry. Bryan proposed to Molly at church in June 2017, and they were married that December. “Our traditional-style wedding was not very huge, but it was lled with lots of love and blessings from family and friends,” Bryan said. From Molly’s long owing gown to the couple’s formal ceremony, the event included an assortment of true wedding traditions. “We had lots of help from family and friends, and we were so happy with how everything came together. It was so organized and perfect,” Molly said. “It was a wonderful day for us.”
THE EVENT
About 100 guests joined the couple for the wedding and reception at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church
in Little Rock. Rev. Robert Cook performed the ceremony. Bryan said he was “ oored” when Molly walked down the aisle. “She was the most beautiful bride I’d ever seen anywhere,” he said. “I was absolutely stunned.”
THE TASTES
Since the reception took place at 3 p.m., the couple served hors d’oeuvres prepared by Sylvia VanDover and some friends from church. Elliana Dutchover baked both the wedding cake and
the golf-themed grooms cake. e three-tiered wedding cake featured an assortment of avors, including strawberries and chocolate ganache.
THE RECEPTION
A er the ceremony, guests joined the couple for a classic, traditional reception with music and dancing. Bryan’s aunt and uncle, Scarlet and Kit Acklin, helped organize the music and facilitate reception activities, which included a rst dance, the lighting of a unity candle, a cake-cutting, a garter toss and a bouquet toss.
