Searcy has to find a way to replace gradu- ated senior Gabe Chapman, who rushed for nearly 1,500 yards in 2017.
“We have a couple of guys that we can use a couple different ways,” Kelley said. “There is no doubt that they give us some options to incorporate. We want to get the running back out and let him catch the ball.”
Kelley said his offensive line has a couple of guys returning who are really good, including senior left tackle Drew Vest, senior guard Tanner Thomas and senior center Jesus Hernandez.
“The biggest thing we are trying to get them to do is be quicker on their feet,” Kelley said. “We are doing a little more with zone blocking, so that’s been the biggest thing we have worked on this offseason.”
