The Arkansas Democrat- Gazette is seeking a motivat- ed and energetic library as- sistant to join the staff. The li- brary is responsible for maintaining an accurate ar- chive of news articles that ap- pear in the paper and assist- ing the newsroom staff with research. This is a part-time position.

A suitable candidate should: be familiar with current events; have good communi- cation, grammar and punctu- ation skills; have accurate typing skills; be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment; have experience with Mac and PC operating systems; able to lift up to 40 pounds to a level of 36”; able to follow directions;
