ARROW’S CAFE AND BBQ
Homey atmosphere gives patrons what they want
For guests looking for an inviting atmo- sphere with delicious food, Arrow’s Cafe and BBQ in Heber Springs is the place to be.
This family-friendly eatery is home to scrumptious home-style cooking that can have visitors’ mouths watering before the diners even see the food hit the table.
Arrow’s Cafe and BBQ, as the name suggests, is also home to some delec- table barbecue. The restaurant’s bar- becue recipes include ribs, brisket, chicken and pork.
Owner Earl Moore, who owns the restaurant with his wife, Rachel, said that while the food may not appear to be prepared in a ritzy, upscale bistro, the eatery prides itself on satisfying taste, excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.
“Here at Arrow’s, we may not serve the fanciest food — just good food with good service at an affordable price. We
know our customers need to dine out, and we want to meet that need with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere,” he said.
Moore added that the restaurant’s catering service helps customers plan events while taking the stress out of feeding large groups of people.
He said he has many years of experience in the restaurant industry and wants to give customers what they expect.
“We strive to listen to the people of our community to hear their needs and appreciate how they have come up around our business to help us grow,” he said. “We offer an all-American cafe menu with homemade desserts, as well as barbecue meats and convenience foods for pickup.”

GRANDMA’S COLLECTIBLES
Shop offers diverse, unique selection
The old saying that one person’s junk is another person’s treasure fits Grandma’s Collectibles in Cabot. The business, housed in a 2,900-square-foot building, is filled with a variety of items large and small.
Owners Kenneth and Linda Hall opened the business 14 years ago.
Linda’s mother loved flea markets, and the two would visit as many as they could.
Linda said Grandma’s Collectibles was opened to honor her mother.
Grandma’s Collectibles features more than 60 vendors selling items ranging from furniture and small appliances to toys, home decor and everything in between.
Other items one might find include jewelry, tools, coins and even new items.
“Some customers come in for a cer- tain item, and others just to browse
around and see what they can find,” Linda said.
Jim Catherman, a longtime vendor at Grandma’s Collectibles, said he found that his booth at the business is a good way to make extra income without a lot of overhead. He has three booths and said it’s easy to do business with the Halls.
Linda said another reason people visit her shop is to find missing items to complete a collection, to replace bro- ken china or crystal, or to add chairs to a dining-room table.
Grandma’s Collectibles has one other employee, Doyle Wooten, who has been there 12 years. Wooten said Grandma’s Collectibles is different from other flea markets because it has such a variety of items.
