Black House and Searcy Art Gallery,

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Benjamin Clayton Black House is home to the Searcy Art Gallery. Hours of op- eration are 1-4 p.m.Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. Call 501-279-1094 for information about cur- rent and upcoming exhibits.
Berryhill Park, 501 Davis Drive
Located between Moore and Race avenues, Berryhill Park is a 7.2-acre facility with play- grounds, two new pavilions, picnic areas, a soft- ball field, five lighted tennis courts, a volleyball court, a lighted walking trail, restrooms and free wireless Internet access.
Carmichael Community Center,

Home of the Searcy Parks and Recreation of- fices, the Carmichael Community Center has meeting rooms, a kitchen, a gym, a playground, picnic tables and a ball field.The center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday,Tuesday,Thurs- day, Friday and Saturday; and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Wednesday. Hours are subject to change.
Riverside Park, 160 Riverside Park Road
LocatedonthenorthsideofSearcy,Riverside Park provides 99 acres of hiking fun. Seated on the outskirts of town, Riverside includes picnic areas, restrooms, playground areas, two pavil- ions, handicap-accessible trails, river outlooks and Little Red River access.
Searcy Bike Trail, Ella Street to Queensway
This 4.8-mile paved biking/walking trail serves as a fantastic exercise route for the Searcy community. Enjoy a leisurely stroll or a vigorous ride while taking in Searcy’s own fingerprint of Arkansas’ natural beauty.

The Searcy Events Center hosts many community events, from concerts to skate competitions.The location has an outdoor stage, basketball courts, volleyball pits and a skate park.
Searcy Lake,Truman Baker Drive
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of life, and try to catch a big one from the public covered fishing pier.
Searcy Dog Park, Higginson Drive
Located between the basketball cour ts and Pioneer Village, this park is a place to bring your dog and let it roam off its leash. Hours are from sunrise to sunset. Rules are posted at the park, so go out and literally “have a ball” with your best friend.
Searcy Sports Complex, 1209 Queensway
This 118.5-acre complex has 18 soccer fields, six basketball cour ts, 22 baseball/softball fields, four adult softball fields, football fields, a skate park, restrooms and picnic areas.The complex also includes a new disc-golf course.The course begins and ends near the basketball courts and is open during daylight hours year-round.
Smyrna Church,
Arkansas 36 and Jaybird Lane
Located east of Center Hill, this 1856 Greek vernacular revival church has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1992. Spring park is home to the historic capped-off Sulphur Spring in its original gazebo.The park, which is larger than 4 acres, includes restrooms, a pavilion, a playground, picnic areas, a walking trail and two butterfly gardens.
Yancey Park, 950 Skyline Drive
Yancey Park is a 5-acre park with a basketball court, a large new playground, two small pa- vilions, a walking trail, lighted tennis courts and picnic areas.This park is great for the little ones.
