BAKER DRUG INC.
Local pharmacy provides individualized service
Since 1978, pharmacist Jimbo Hendrickson has owned and operated Baker Drug in Conway, where providing hometown service is the hallmark of the full-service pharmacy. Hendrickson said he is very appreciative of the community that has helped him grow.
Baker Drug specializes in compound- ing prescriptions to suit the needs of indi- vidual patients of all ages and offers nat- ural remedies for hormone-replacement therapy and anti-nausea medication.
“You get personalized treatment that you might not get in a big pharmacy,” office manager Dianna Bradke said. “We’re a small pharmacy that really cares. Jimbo wants people to know that he is here for them. No matter what the problem is, he will do his best to take care of everybody,” Bradke said.
Baker Drug accepts most insurance plans and offers travel vaccines, such as tetanus, hepatitis A and B, typhoid,
polio and MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), as well as shingles, flu and pneumonia shots.
Apex Medical Rentals, managed by Brent Hendrickson, is located inside Baker Drug. Apex provides an array of medical equipment and supplies, includ- ing items for bathroom safety, urological and incontinence needs, diabetic testing, personal care and many more products available for rent or purchase.
The store offers free local delivery of equipment, supplies and prescriptions. Baker Drug is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and
from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. While there, don’t forget to try a sam- ple of Baker Drug’s fudge in a variety
of flavors, all made fresh in the store.
