Greenbrier business caters to rustic lifestyle
For anyone looking to outfit a cabin or rustic home, one store is a one-stop shop for log and rustic furniture.
Cedar Creek Log Furniture, which has locations in Greenbrier and Moun- tain View, was opened in 2010 by Anita and Tommy White. They opened the Greenbrier location first because they owned a log home and had difficulty finding appropriate furniture and decor.
“We had to search quite a bit to find the pieces we wanted for our house,” Anita said. “We found good, quality builders that we were able to buy from and continue to buy from to sell to our customers now.”
The business has been successful for the couple. When the store first opened, it had only a 3,500-square-foot showroom. The Greenbrier store now has 10,000 square feet, and the Whites opened the location in Mountain View in 2013.
Cedar Creek offers American-made furniture and decor — all constructed of high-quality materials and solid wood — for any room in the home.
The store sells log furniture, includ- ing tables, chairs, beds, coffee tables, dressers and more. Cedar Creek also carries reclaimed barn-wood furniture that is made to last for generations.
Customers can find unique deco- rative items, including artwork, rugs, taxidermy and much more. The store even offers kitchen cabinets. Cedar Creek also has financing and layaway options.
Cedar Creek is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
RUSSAW HEATING AND AIR
Complete satisfaction is key to company policy
Tackling big jobs is nothing new to Russaw Heating and Air, a full-service heating-and-air company. The staff performs installations for residential and commercial projects, as well as replacements for residential and com- mercial systems.
Plus, Russaw is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for service, and with the company’s own sheet-metal shop, everything is handled locally.
“Russaw Heating and Air will pro- vide first-class service and products to the community at affordable prices,” said Jeff Peterson, president of the company. He also said the business is “striving for 100 percent customer satisfaction.”
When the staff leaves a customer’s home, Peterson wants the customer to know that his crew was “respectful, honest, courteous and knowledgeable. I want cus- tomers to have peace of mind about their decision to do business with us,” he said.
Peterson said life in the business is always enjoyable.
“It’s different every day,” Peterson said. “[There is] a different problem that we have fixed when no one else has been able to, a different project to start, a different customer to help.”
Customer relationships for Peterson start with one word.
“Listen,” Peterson said emphatically. “Listen to the customer’s wants and concerns to help design a system that exceeds their expectations and gives them 100 percent satisfaction.”
Product brands such as Rheem, American Standard and others, as well as a full-service shop for fabrications, make Russaw Heating and Air a great choice to ensure a home or business is as comfortable as possible.
