contest alongside Nicky Parrish, Geoffrey Robson, and Jarod Matheney. Amber said she hopes that while they’re at the event, people will see what the radio station has to offer.
“We hope they see how much we love our community and how honored we feel to wake up with this city every weekday morning,” she said. “We are super down to earth, and we honestly just feel very lucky to work together in an environment that allows us to be our awkward, dorky selves.”
106.7 The Ride will broadcast live from Pops on the River from 3-6 p.m., and Amber will kick off the Oh Say! Can You Sing? contest by performing two songs.
★ FINALE ★
The finale this year will again feature
water cakes, a special firework that creates a fire effect on the surface of the water. These will be in the fireworks display at least four times. On each occasion, there will be a different effect. Along with the water cakes, there will be other aerials for the crowd to enjoy.
Copley said she is excited about the event and the continual growth it sees.
“Pops gets bigger every year. It’s always
the best traditional Fourth of July event in Arkansas that everyone can enjoy,” she said.
