MEDICAL CAREER CONNECTIONS SUNDAY, JANUARY 25, 2015 • ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT TO THE ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE
CHI St. Vincent Infirmary has some of the best nurses in Arkansas. Excellence in nursing leadership, clinical practice, in- novations and positive outcomes earned CHI St. Vincent Infirmary the distinction of being the first and only hospital in Arkansas to earn Magnet status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The legacy at CHI St. Vincent is that the patient comes first. Its nurses have a voice in the processes that are in place to care for patients. Evidence-based practice — the conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evi- dence in making decisions about the care of patients — is at the heart of the high-quality care at CHI St. Vincent In- firmary.
In addition, U.S. News & World Re- port rated CHI St. Vincent Infirmary the best hospital in Arkansas two years in a row. Magnet and U.S. News & World Report are benchmarks for families to consider when looking for quality care for their health care needs and are gaug- es for health care professionals seeking
a career with an employer who has a proven track record of excellence.
CHI St. Vincent is making rapid prog- ress toward a scheduled summer 2015 completion of a second medical office building, which will expand the access of health care services for families in the growing west Little Rock area at CHI St. Vincent West. The first medical office building opened in November 2011 as a health and wellness destination at the crossroads of Chenal Parkway, Rahling Road and CHI St. Vincent Way, adjacent to the Promenade at Chenal.
The addition of a full-service outpa- tient imaging center will provide MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray services, as well as a satellite location of the CHI St. Vincent Breast Center. Michael Pohlkamp, D.D.S., will be based at CHI St. Vincent West for the dental needs of families, and Cornerstone Pharmacy will offer easy access for those needing to fill prescriptions and shop for other pharmacy-related items. This expansion contributes not only to the health care
of families in the area, but also to long- term, positive economic development in Chenal Valley and west Little Rock.
Currently, CHI St. Vincent West in- cludes family-practice physician offices, the CHI St. Vincent Urgent Care Center, the CHI St. Vincent Sleep Disorders Cen- ter and a satellite office of The Longevity Center for the care and treatment of baby boomers and their parents.
Those looking for a health care system that is committed to high quality stan- dards for its patients and great careers in nursing can contact CHI St. Vincent to learn how to become a member of its team. The hospital is committed to staffing with highly trained nurses and putting nurses in leadership positions that allow them substantial input on pa- tient care.
