products,” Malcolm said. “Yes, you’ll see many of the popular vendor booths we’ve had before, but you’ll also notice businesses that are new to the show.”
OVER 200 EXHIBITORS IN ONE LOCATION
More than 200 exhibitors will be located on the floor level and concourse level of the arena. The event’s Plati- num Sponsors, Kaufman Lumber and Casa Blanca Granite, Marble and Tile, headline the weekend’s list of participating central Arkansas businesses. Among the variety of exhib- itors represented at the show are experts in pest control, landscaping, patio furniture, home security, countertops, lighting, small remodels, new-home construction, flooring, appliances, showers and tubs, pools and spas, and more.
Home Show admission is $8 for adults, while children 12 years of age and younger are free if accompanied by an adult.
REGISTER TO WIN AN LED SMART TV
Those attending this year’s Home Show will have a chance to win the grand prize, so be sure to register. This year’s giveaway is a 48-inch Samsung LED smart TV, courtesy of Arkansas Custom Iron Doors. To be eligible to win, just fill out the back of your Home Show admission ticket and drop it off at the Arkansas Custom Iron Doors booth. The grand-prize drawing will take place Sunday at 4 p.m., and you do not have to be present to win.
In addition, many of the exhibitors will feature giveaways and drawings at their booths, so visitors should be sure to register.
Verizon Arena’s concourse level will offer concessions for attendees interested in food and beverages.
ARKANSAS’ LONGEST-RUNNING CONSUMER HOME TRADE SHOW
Smiatek noted that the HBA-GLR-sponsored Home Show is the state’s largest and longest-running consumer home trade show. She said keeping the show fresh and current is one of the key reasons for the longevity.
“Our vendors work very hard to stay abreast of popular trends,” Smiatek said. “Changing lifestyles and new tech- nology call for new approaches to making today’s living spaces more convenient and comfortable. We’re all looking for ways to improve our lives, and one way we can do that is to improve our living space.”
Smiatek said she believes the show is a golden opportunity for attendees to see what’s trending in interior and exterior home design.
“The Home Show is a fantastic opportunity to learn firsthand what’s new in building techniques, technology, custom features, décor and products for the home. Certain- ly, you can do a fair amount of research online, but there’s nothing like seeing things firsthand and being able to talk directly to builders, designers and vendors. That’s the real beauty of the Home Show,” Smiatek said.
SPONSORS MAKE IT ALL POSSIBLE
The Home Show would not be possible without the tre- mendous support of generous sponsors. The HBA-GLR would like to thank this year’s Platinum Sponsors, Kaufman Lumber (booths 45, 46, 47, 51, 52, 53) and Casa Blanca Granite, Marble and Tile (booths 48, 49, 50), as well as Gold Sponsors, Inside Effects & Outside Effects Inc. (booths 7, 8, 9, 10), LP Building Products (booth 69) and Whirlpool.
