Saving lungs! One Vape at a time! Thanks Rogue!”

“Very helpful staff had answers to all my questions. Very helpful. And the products they sell are all of high quality and priced great. I like how they have all the flavors they sell available for testing in the back of the store. Always hated figuring out online what flavors I might like.” Nathan H.

COOL-WEATHER WORKOUT WITH AMY JACOBSEN, CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Fall is here, and you know what that means — football season! The cooler weather is perfect for getting outside with the kids for a little fun, and you can easily sneak in some exercise. Grab your smartphone (to time your exercises), along with a football and a basketball,
and let’s do some partner work. Exercise doesn’t have to be boring — especially when you can get out there and play ball!
PLAY BALL!
• Start off with some forward and backward arm circles. Slowly perform 15 each way.
• Toss the football back and forth, 25 throws each.
• Perform 20 squat jumps; then drop to the ground and do mountain climbers for 30 seconds. Repeat this sequence twice before moving to the next exercise.
• Perform 20 pushups (modified, if you need to); then grab the basketball and chest-pass it to each other, squatting after each pass, for 25 passes each. Repeat this sequence twice before moving on.
• Lie on your back on the ground (use a towel or exercise mat, if you have one).
Hold one of the balls using both hands. Perform 25 crunches, holding the ball perpendicular to the ground; then do 10 situps, still holding the ball (as you lie on your back, hold the ball over your head; as you sit up, keep the ball over your head until you are sitting up; then lower yourself back to the ground). Repeat this sequence twice; then move on to the next step.
• Perform a one-minute plank.
• Toss the football back and forth for 50 throws, with each person doing a jumping jack after each throw.
• Walk a few laps around the outside of your house or the perimeter of your yard to cool down; then stretch.
Amy Jacobsen is an American Council on Exercise-certified personal trainer and an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America-certified group exercise instructor, and manager of Little Rock’s Downtown Athletic Club. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in kinesiology and has nearly two decades of experience as a personal trainer.
