P. 8

8N SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2020 CLASS XXXV OF THE LEADERSHIP GREATER LITTLE ROCK • ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT TO THE ARKANSAS DEMOCRATGAZETTE
MEET THE GRADUATES
Have you seen our city — I mean truly seen her ... and not just from your car or office window, or through a casual glance,
but up-close and personal? I have, and I am better for it. I am troubled and, at the same time, moved by certain parts of her history. I understand better her challenges and am inspired by those who are committed to her success, particularly through business and economic development, better educational opportunities and a desire to unify our communities. Our neighborhoods are more than ZIP codes, and in them are stories of perseverance, sacrifice, determination and life. I know why our city needs you, needs me, needs all of us to help her thrive — there is so much work to be done. The best part about this journey is it began with
many strangers and will continue with lifelong friends. Leadership Greater Little Rock let me see our city in a special way. I encourage you to see her, too.”
