“That’s talking about 100 miles of protected, off-street, paved trails that will take our community and visitors to the places we want to go,” Pack said. “It’ll take us to work, to cultural experiences, to our city parks or to simply grab a burger or beer.”
Pack said the city’s trail system also links up with the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway, a nearly 40-mile paved trail system that stretches from Bella Vista Lake at its northernmost point through communities such as Bentonville, Springdale and Fayetteville, ending at Town Branch Trail.
Pack said the Cato Springs Trail, which connects Kessler Mountain Regional Park to Fayetteville, has been added to the Greenway, which creates a “Mile Zero” for the Green- way that has established infrastruc- ture such as bathrooms, water foun- tains and plenty of parking.
Pack added that the Northwest Arkansas region also has many great destinations for mountain biking and gravel-road riding.
