Little Rock shop keeps the good times flowing
Whether it’s a bottle of champagne for a wedding toast, a vintage wine to share over dinner or just a pack of beer for the game, one central-Arkansas store has the knowledge and experience to help customers find just the right item.
Colonial Wines & Spirits in Little Rock has served the community since 1992. In that time, the store has built a reputation of customer satisfaction with a selection that is ever evolving. This year, the shop was lauded by readers of the Arkansas Democrat- Gazette in its Best of the Best contest as Best Place to Buy Beer, Best Place to Buy Liquor and Best Place to Buy Wine.
“Being selected [in those categories] is humbling and a great honor, said Clark Trim, president of Colonial Wines & Spirits. “Central Arkansas is fortunate to have several shopping choices. Competition is fierce, especially with wine available in the big-box and grocery stores. We always keep our selections plentiful, exciting and affordable, and our commitment is to provide the best shopping experience anywhere.”
Trim said service is what makes Colonial stand out from other stores in the area. He said his team members understand that they work for the customer and that customers deserve the best, fastest, friendliest and most knowledgeable service.
“One-hundred-percent customer satisfaction is our goal,” he said.
The business’s mission, Trim said, is to sell celebrations. He said that every bottle of wine is a potential romantic dinner or gift. Some margarita mix might be for a girls night or a Cinco de Mayo fiesta. A case of beer could be for a barbecue or a Razorback game.
Trim said staff members at Colonial constantly work to improve their knowledge of the products. They train through organizations such as the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and the Court of Master Sommeliers. He said his staff can help plan get-togethers such as weddings, charity events and more.
The business also supports the local community by sponsoring and hosting various nonprofit organizations, as well as donating beverages for events and products for silent auctions.
