FROM THE GOVERNOR
State of Arkansas
Asa Hutchinson Governor
Central Arkansas has something for everyone to enjoy. As an Arkansas na- tive, I am still surprised to discover new aspects of our state’s beauty. However, the greatest assets of our state are its history and its people. Arkansans have incredi- bly generous spirits and are always eager to offer a helping hand.
For newcomers to the four-county region of central Arkansas, I encourage you to take advantage of all this bustling area has to offer. Climb Pinnacle Moun- tain. Cycle across the Big Dam Bridge and along the Arkansas River Trail. Take in Toad Suck Daze in Conway. See the latest exhibit at the Arkansas Arts Center or a show at The Rep, and immerse yourself in the unique blend of culture and Southern charm.
Venture across the state to visit the wineries and vineyards on the Arkansas Wine Trail, or step back in time at the Old State House Museum in downtown Little Rock. Central Arkansas is also home to the Clinton Presidential Center and library, which sits on 29 beautiful acres along the Arkansas River banks.
We offer everything from outdoor recreation to contemporary attractions that capture history and celebrate our state’s rich heritage and culture. As gover- nor, I am confident that you will feel a sense of belonging and excitement that you can only find in central Arkansas.
Sincerely,
Asa Hutchinson Governor
