How do you spend your time?
I volunteer at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Cen- ter, serving patients and visitors. I currently serve as president of the medical center’s volunteer auxiliary. What do you do for fun in Russellville?
My husband and I enjoy eating at the many won- derful restaurants in our area.We also enjoy visiting Lake Dardanelle State Park.There are fun activities almost every weekend in Russellville’s quaint down- town area. This is a great oppor tunity to meet lots of people.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
I have been volunteering at Saint Mary’s for about four years. Along with the many fellow volunteers, I enjoy serving others. Our auxiliary recently hosted the annual volunteer recruiting roundup, when people can learn more about volunteering at the hospital. We were absolutely thrilled to have a record number of 18 new volunteers join our auxiliary.
How long have you lived in Russellville?
I am originally from Little Rock. My husband and I moved to Russellville to retire about four years ago. What sights/sounds do you recommend for visi- tors to Russellville?
I would recommend driving up to Mount Nebo State Park to enjoy the view.We also enjoy the many concerts hosted at our fine-arts center.

What do you do for fun in Russellville?
I attend theArtWalks downtown and enjoy being at the library.We go to the various parks around the town; the city park has a splash pad open May to September. What do you enjoy most about your job?
I have been administering the Peabody Picture Vo- cabulary Test to 3-year-olds for a year now. I give the same test to each child, but it’s never tedious because the interaction with each child is different.They are such characters, and very smart!
What outdoor activities do you enjoy in Russellville?
I enjoy walking at the Bona Dea trails with the kids. I also like to venture out to swim and camp along the creeks in the surrounding areas.
How long have you lived in Russellville?
My entire life. I’ve gone other places for a time but have always found my way back home.
Do you have children? If so, what makes your city a great place to raise a family?
I have three kids.They enjoy the community sports and activities available.There are a lot of enrichment opportunities for kids in Russellville, ranging from music and art to sports and clubs. Our community offers a lot of no-cost activities for children throughout the year.

What do you do for fun in Russellville?
Kayaking, golfing, shopping for antiques and going out to eat with friends and family
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I really enjoy meeting the people who fly in at our airport and just meeting people in general.We have a great group of local pilots as well, and getting to know them has been great. I’ve only been here since March of this year, and it’s been one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve always been crazy about aircraft and flying, so this job is perfect for me!
What outdoor activities do you enjoy in Russellville?
I really enjoy getting out and paddling my surf ski or canoes when time allows.We are blessed to live in an area with so much scenic beauty, and my wife, Velda, and I like to take drives out to sit and watch some of the spectacular sunsets at Lake Dardanelle.
How long have you lived in Russellville?
I’ve lived in the Russellville area for about 50 years.
What sights/sounds do you recommend for visi- tors to Russellville?
There are so many great places to eat in Russellville, but you can’t go wrong with two traditional favorites, the Old South Restaurant and the ever popular Feltner’s Whatta-burger. (Make mine a Double Double, please!)
