Yell County Gin Co. was built and first opened in 1947 as a cotton gin in Dardanelle. Since then it has grown into a successful farm-equipment dealer that offers some of the top brands in the in- dustry. After changing ownership several times, Delma Merritt purchased the gin in 1966.
