Know before you go
Why should I go to the River Valley & Ozark Edition Senior Expo? The Senior Expo will offer local seniors a chance to gather with other seniors, play bingo, meet area vendors and register for giveaways. Free health screenings provided by the Conway Regional Health System will be available during the event, including blood-pressure and glucose tests, sun-damage assessments and diabetic foot screenings. A posture/ balance screening will also be offered. The event is presented by the River Valley & Ozark Edition of the Arkansas Democrat- Gazette and is sponsored by the Conway Regional Health System.
Where will the event be held? It will be at the Conway Regional Health and Fitness Center, 700 Salem Road.
When is the expo? It will be from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 25.
What can you tell me about the giveaways?
Attendees can register to win two grand prizes that will be given away: a three-day, two-night trip to Branson, Missouri, with
Jay and the Twilighters will perform at the 2017 River Valley & Ozark Edition Senior Expo.
show tickets included; and a Bates Furni- ture rocking recliner. Other door prizes and vendor prizes will be dispersed throughout the event.
Will there be entertainment? Yes. Live music will be provided by Jay and The Twi- lighters. The group will perform songs from the 1950s and 1960s, as well as retro gospel songs. Attendees can also play bingo during the event.
How much does the expo cost? The Senior Expo is free to the public.
