HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN CABOT?
I’ve lived in Cabot almost 17 years.
WHEN DID YOU MOVE HERE?
I moved here around 2001, during the summer.
WHAT MAKES CABOT A GOOD PLACE TO RAISE A FAMILY?
I think Cabot is a great place to raise a family because of its school system. The crime is also low around here, which makes it safer to walk your dogs and enjoy a sunny day.
WHAT IS ONE OF CABOT’S HIDDEN GEMS?
One hidden gem I believe is the environment that a Friday night brings on the town when there’s football in the air. Everyone knows Cabot is a football town, but there’s something about coming down here and enjoying a turkey leg and watching the game with more than half the town around you that screams “small town U.S.A.” I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
Fishing, weightlifting and bowling
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IN CABOT?
I like to go to the Cabot pond and fish some- times, or walk around. I love to watch football Friday nights at the high school. I love the atmo- sphere, and when it’s not football season, I’ll be at the bowling alley, playing in their leagues.
WHO IS SOMEONE WHO INSPIRES YOU, AND WHY?
Both of my parents. They have showed me that no matter where you come from, you can always better yourself as a person — and in life in general, which has driven me to where I am now.
