Greers Ferry Florist and Gifts has been serving the Greers Ferry area with a variety of products and services for more than five years. Owner Jane Feland said she opened the shop after she saw a need in the Greers Ferry community. “I wanted to have good gifts and cards so people wouldn’t have to go out of town,” she said. “They were having to go to Conway or Batesville or somewhere else to get a decent gift.” The shop carries many items, including custom flower arrangements, silk flowers, jewelry, gourmet baskets, pottery, home decor, lake souvenirs and more. “We’re always getting new inventory and new things to look at,” she said. The shop has two full-time and three part-time employees. Customers can also visit with Holly, the shop cat, while they look for the perfect gift.
JMC Puppy Park offers boarding, day care and grooming services. While staying at the park, the canine guests are taken to a large play area four times a day.

When you have to be away from home and can’t take the family pup, JMC Puppy Park strives to be your pet’s home away from home. “Our slogan is, ‘Where your dogs can play while you’re away,’” owner Jessica Curley said. “Our No. 1 goal is to provide an atmosphere that is as close to home as possible.” While staying at JMC Puppy Park, your canine pal will be taken to the park’s large play areas four times a day to run and play. While the dog is out and about, the trained staff will clean up its suite, provide fresh water and prepare its meals. “We want people to feel at ease when they board their dog with us,” she said. “They should feel confident that their loved one is in a safe, nurturing environment.” The park also offers day care and bathing, which includes a shampoo, cream rinse, blow dry, nail trim and ear cleaning. In addition, JMC Puppy Park also offers full-service grooming. Curley added that getting to know the guests is the most important part of what the business does because each dog is special and has different needs.
