For more than 50 years, Sportsman’s Lodge in Greers Ferry has been a home away from home to visitors of Greers Ferry Lake. With its location near the Narrows Bridge, Sportsman’s Lodge is close to many of the lake’s fishing and recreational destinations. Rooms at Sportsman’s Lodge have undergone continuing improvements and renovations since the lodge opened in the 1960s, and all the improvements have been made with customer comfort in mind. The lodge features a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, kitchenettes, a covered pavilion, smoking and nonsmoking rooms, picnic tables and horseshoe pits. Sportsman’s Lodge is also pet friendly and has plenty of space for boat parking. The staff at Sportsman’s Lodge strives to be kind, courteous and available to help make your family getaway the most comfortable and enjoyable it can be.

Drasco Hardware & More — previously Drasco Farm & Home Supply — has been in business for more than 30 years. The store was purchased in September last year by Roger and Casey Ward, and the couple hope to continue serving the community to the standards set by the store’s former owners, Jerry and Thelma Pounds. “We both love do-it-yourself projects, so a hardware store was always one of our favorite stores,” Casey said. “We had just finished remodeling our home, and Mr. Pounds was ready to retire. We knew the need for the hardware store in this community and hated to see it close. We took our hobbies and invested into our community.” The store recently underwent a complete remodel and carries a wide range of home-improvement merchandise, plumbing items and yard-care tools with prices competitive to big-box stores. The company also carries farm supplies such as seeds and fertilizer and makes hydraulic hoses. Drasco Hardware is working on adding new services.
