Making a friend in the car business is easy with a dealership like Payton Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Clinton. In fact, that’s what it does best, said Eric Pruitt, general sales manager. “We want to get them the best experience, the best price and the best trade-in value,” Pruitt said. The dealership, which recently moved to 2799 U.S. 65 S., offers a full line of new Chrysler vehicles, from the Dodge Dart to Ram pickup trucks. The new location offers more convenience and a larger selection. Pruitt said the dealership’s philosophy is to be the customer’s friend in the car business. “I love creating the relationships that go along with selling cars,” he said, “and not just selling one car, but knowing the family well enough to sell everybody in the family a car.” Payton’s service department has factory-certified technicians to provide excellent maintenance after the sale, Pruitt said. The dealership’s hours for sales are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The service department is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
